The beach at Karaš is a well known swimming spot at the Danube. The locals from Beočin usually find a quick escape from summer heat here. This sandy beach welcomes up to 1.000 swimmers. The view from the beach stretches onto the Beočin shore and the neighbouring Futog village.

You can get to Karaš by car, just take the Beočin bypass. The beach is clean, and has changing rooms, showers, a volleyball field in the sand… you’ll often find fishermen at this place, and if you don’t have the patience to go fishing, you can always treat yourself at the nearby restaurant.
