Monuments

Monuments and historic sites are speckled all over Fruška Gora. They pay homage or even celebrate historic events and prominent individuals. Most of them are dedicated to the National Liberation Struggle, and were built after World War 2. Some of them are opulent and iconically large, thought others are more humble and content. Each location, however, represents the unyielding spirit of liberty and the quest for freedom of the people here.
